SRA Community Liaison Program

Municipal Information

The Suburban REALTORS® Alliance represents the interests of the real estate industry and consumers at the municipal level. As a liaison between public officials and the real estate industry, we hope to work together to build our communities and ensure the availability of safe and affordable housing for all residents.

To achieve this balance, the Alliance staff reviews proposed ordinances and submits comments to municipal officials based on established policies of the REALTOR® organization.

Issues of special interest to our members at the local level include: use and occupancy certificates and associated fees; professional disclosure; sign use; land use; rental property licensure; quality of life issues that impact small business owners; and other real estate-related ordinances.

ATTENTION SRA Database Users: You now need a Username and Password to access our municipal database as we have transitioned this service into an exclusive benefit for the members and affiliates of the Bucks County Association of REALTORS, the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS, and the Suburban West REALTORS Association. Please contact the Suburban REALTORS Alliance with any questions at sra@suburbanrealtorsalliance.com or 610-981-9000. Click here for a FAQ on the change. Municipal Database: As an added service to our shareholders, local governments and consumers of real estate, the Suburban REALTORS Alliance has created a municipal database that provides a comprehensive snapshot of the real estate-related regulations and ordinances that have been enacted by the 238 municipalities in the Alliance's four county territory. The database is frequently updated by staff, in cooperation with municipal authorities.
